I am utterly disgusted that during such a peak time for travel to Tobago there is only one ferry working and which has been totally booked from "early o'clock." We continually boast about boosting Tobago tourism since that is a major source of income for our brothers and sisters in the sister isle. Yet at a time when thousands of people need the ferry, the Port Authority decides to drydock one of its vessels.
With only one vessel working it has not given public notification of when or if the other vessel would be accommodating passengers. This is ridiculous. How can we boast about helping Tobago when we are depriving it of a major sources of income? We need the ferry before month-end. What is Works and Transport Minister Jack Warner doing about this? I might never go to Tobago again because of this madness.
