I read that, according to a media release from Friends of Cricket, it is rumoured that legal costs incurred by the T&T Cricket Board (TTCB) in its failed bid to stop the regional four-day final between the CCC and Jamaica were $300,000.Whatever the actual cost, this is money wasted and this action to decide the outcome of a game in the court is an embarrassment to the people of T&T.Almost anyone with common sense would have advised the TTCB that its decision to go to court was an exercise in futility. Why didn't the TTCB call an emergency meeting with its board members and be guided accordingly?
