Open letter to Works and Transport Minister Jack Warner: I understand that you would like to know who gave permission for REDJet to come to Trinidad. Well I will tell you: every citizen in T&T who is made to pay CAL's inflationary fares to the Caribbean plus excess baggage charges.
Depending on the season, we pay as high as $2,700 for a return fare to Barbados. We senior citizens need to visit our children and grandchildren in the islands and sometimes the fares to Miami and Fort Lauderdale are cheaper. Of course you would not know about this because you travel free and first class. Please keep quiet and allow competition to do its work.
