Save land by building high-rise apartments

With 50 per cent of Trinidad’s land mass deemed forest reserves there is obviously severe competition for land use between the agriculture and housing industries. Isn’t it time therefore that we in Trinidad utilise what is free and use the airspace for housing? People will just have to get accustomed to living in high-rise apartments and not demand their own plot of house and land. There will no longer be confrontations between squatters and the government housing agency, the HDC.
