Why do government ministers not stop blaming the PNM and govern the country properly? We now have Minister Cadiz talking of 50 years of neglect by the PMN. What rubbish. In the last 25 years, the PNM was in power for only about half that time. The NAR and the UNC were in government the rest of the time.Further, what neglect? Have we not had CDAP, new schools, new highways, a new hospital, the University of T&T, the Tobago ferry service a new Hyatt Hotel, the transformation of the Port-of-Spain waterfront, new government buildings, a prosperous nation and so on?Ministers must realise that they just lose credibility by indulging in cheap politics. If they have nothing constructive to say they must shut up. They must tell us of their plans to improve our lives. The minister talked so much about crime before he assumed office. Has he solved that problem? Is he near solving it?
