I have been following the investigation of the commission of enquiry into the events of the 1990 attempted coup, and the name of Jean Miles was brought up, I believe, by Sir David Simmons, QC (chairman), as to whether there should have been a statue erected for Miles as was suggested by the former Prime Minister, ANR Robinson. The reply by Jones P Madeira was that she was not as important as Sparrow and Kitchener and so she was not important enough for recognition.
