For­mer Min­is­ter of Le­gal Af­fairs in the Patrick Man­ning ad­min­is­tra­tion, Pe­ter Tay­lor, has brave­ly re­signed from the PNM so that he can ex­press his views fear­less­ly and he protests that par­ty of­fi­cials re­main silent against Man­ning's am­bi­tious machi­na­tions.

Tay­lor, who I be­lieve dis­missed Beetham truck loot­ing as par for the course in the Par­lia­ment, could nev­er find fault with Man­ning in his hey­day of mal­ad­min­is­tra­tion. He al­so nev­er sup­port­ed Kei­th Row­ley against Man­ning's in­dict­ments. If Tay­lor is se­ri­ous about up­lift­ing the PNM, he must be more care­ful with his gram­mar and dic­tion. But most of all he must re­con­sid­er his cred­i­bil­i­ty.
