Can any­one shed some light on why my post-paid Dig­i­cel Black­ber­ry nev­er roams?I switched to Dig­i­cel three years ago, and every time I have trav­elled since I have not been able to pick up the sig­nal to roam.If roam­ing is not pos­si­ble with Dig­i­cel, why is the com­pa­ny pro­mot­ing a roam­ing ser­vice? It just nev­er works-not in Flori­da, not in Cana­da, not in New York. The oth­er net­work roams just fine. On seek­ing an­swers from the Dig­i­cel per­son­nel at the Gulf City branch, they sug­gest­ed that I had not paid my bill. When this proved to be not the case, their bril­liant so­lu­tion was that, on land­ing in an­oth­er coun­try, I switch off my phone, re­move the bat­tery... all kinds of ma­nip­u­la­tions. I stu­pid­ly fol­lowed their ad­vice but, sur­prise, I still could not roam.
