It is ironic that Colm Imbert would seek to "take front before front takes him" and rush to blame his junior minister for the purchase of the MV Su.What I find ridiculous, however, is the rush by top PNM officials who are now under investigation by Attorney General Anand Ramlogan is the hollow cry of "witch-hunt."Imbert cannot blow hot and cold at the same time. In one breath he admits all was not well and quickly points the finger of blame at Roger Joseph-former PNM Minister in the Ministry of Works and Transport. In the other breath, he cries political "witch-hunt" by the Attorney General and deems the probe malicious and spiteful. Which is it, Imbert? If it is indeed a witch-hunt, why is he so quick to distance himself as line minister from the fiasco and lay blame elsewhere? His actions remind me of William Shakespeare's renowned quote: "Me thinks he doth protest too much."
