I have been a re­tired po­lice of­fi­cer for the past ten years and I am very hurt to know that an old age pen­sion­er is get­ting more pen­sion mon­ey than I and fel­low re­tirees. I would like the Prime Min­is­ter and the Min­is­ter of Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty to ful­fil the promise made to gov­ern­ment re­tirees of this coun­try. The Prime Min­is­ter said we were go­ing to get an in­crease by the end of June. When I called the po­lice pay­roll sec­tion, I was told that they have not re­ceived any in­struc­tion from the Min­is­ter of Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty to pay the in­crease. It was said that doc­u­ments need to be tak­en to Par­lia­ment first.
