The Min­istry of the Peo­ple is at present em­bark­ing on a pro­gramme which will al­low pen­sion­ers' cheques to be de­posit­ed to their bank ac­counts.This is a wel­come ini­tia­tive that has sev­er­al ad­van­tages, such as al­le­vi­at­ing the long lines at the tellers, as those who have bank cards will be able to go at their con­ve­nience to au­to­mat­ic teller ma­chines un­re­strict­ed by nor­mal bank­ing hours.How­ev­er, the min­istry has made a se­ri­ous er­ror in the im­ple­men­ta­tion stage.
