The stance adopt­ed by PN­Mites Bro David Muhammed and Dr Amery Browne by their fail­ure to con­demn vo­cif­er­ous­ly that 14-year-old can in­di­rect­ly be linked to the state of emer­gency and cur­few. Both gen­tle­men have cham­pi­oned the trite, pe­riph­er­al, po­lit­i­cal di­men­sions of the is­sue and dis­re­gard­ed the core is­sue of dis­re­spect for au­thor­i­ty. That has been the bane of our (black) youths and their par­ents have less­er and less­er been ad­dress­ing this bur­geon­ing cri­sis ad­e­quate­ly and force­ful­ly. End re­sult: crim­i­nal­i­ty sur­round­ed by our vo­cal black apol­o­gists.

If the per­son in the video is a child as the two gen­tle­man are plead­ing, why haven't her par­ents stepped for­ward and apol­o­gised to the Prime Min­is­ter and as a mat­ter of fact T&T who is pay­ing for her sec­ondary ed­u­ca­tion? What the two gen­tle­man are al­so trot­ting out for our mi­nors is com­mit your of­fence, apol­o­gise if caught and your con­tri­tion ex­pressed as a child will save you from be­ing dis­ci­plined.
