Browne, Muhammed, it’s about disrespect

The stance adopted by PNMites Bro David Muhammed and Dr Amery Browne by their failure to condemn vociferously that 14-year-old can indirectly be linked to the state of emergency and curfew. Both gentlemen have championed the trite, peripheral, political dimensions of the issue and disregarded the core issue of disrespect for authority. That has been the bane of our (black) youths and their parents have lesser and lesser been addressing this burgeoning crisis adequately and forcefully. End result: criminality surrounded by our vocal black apologists.

If the person in the video is a child as the two gentleman are pleading, why haven’t her parents stepped forward and apologised to the Prime Minister and as a matter of fact T&T who is paying for her secondary education? What the two gentleman are also trotting out for our minors is commit your offence, apologise if caught and your contrition expressed as a child will save you from being disciplined.
