I commend the police and army for their magnificent work in rounding up so many "criminals" during the state of emergency. Most Trinis would not have believed that our protective services were capable of such systematic and productive work. They have made us all proud and given us renewed confidence in their abilities. It is hoped that this exercise has given them the self-esteem to continue to produce the excellent work that we now know they are capable of. Hopefully, also, we the people will give them the support and respect that they deserve. Thank you so much.
