Ku­dos and high praise to Ken­neth Listhrop, the mu­si­cal di­rec­tor of the T&T Youth Phil­har­mon­ic. What a treat they gave us on Sun­day at Queen's Hall, Port-of-Spain. To see all of these young peo­ple (four to 24) play­ing their var­i­ous in­stru­ments so en­thu­si­as­ti­cal­ly and ex­pert­ly and pro­duc­ing such beau­ti­ful mu­sic was most heart-warm­ing, and did much to lift our spir­its, es­pe­cial­ly at this time. These young peo­ple are a cred­it to Listhrop and our na­tion, and I look for­ward to many more en­joy­able per­for­mances from them. They de­serve our sup­port and re­spect.
