Talk is cheap. This has clear­ly been demon­strat­ed by our for­mer Prime Min­is­ter, Patrick Man­ning, in his apol­o­gy to the na­tion. The fact that he has ad­mit­ted that he per­ceives that he was re­spon­si­ble for the dis­en­fran­chise­ment of cit­i­zens is a mock­ery to the oath which he took on the Bible when he was ap­point­ed Prime Min­is­ter. Man­ning's first pub­lic apol­o­gy should be to God. Then he should re­sign as a Mem­ber of Par­lia­ment as re­pen­tance for the sins he per­ceives he has com­mit­ted on the cit­i­zens of T&T. In the eyes of God, ac­tions speak loud­er than words.
