The coun­try has been mis­led, by the ma­jor­i­ty of the op­po­si­tion par­ty, the main per­son be­ing for­mer PM Patrick Man­ning, to be­lieve that the as­sas­si­na­tion plot against the Prime Min­is­ter and three Cab­i­net min­is­ters was a hoax.Man­ning stat­ed that threats to heads of gov­ern­ment are nor­mal. But it was the same Man­ning who, in fear when in the same sit­u­a­tion, hired his own pri­vate guards and brought in for­eign­ers to run the PM's res­i­dence.

PM Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar, how­ev­er, is not budg­ing and stands firm in her fight against crime. She is not go­ing to let this threat de­ter her in any way.Man­ning, take note as to how a leader is sup­posed to act when threat­ened, es­pe­cial­ly if you are for the peo­ple.
