No one seems to care about do­ing some­thing about reck­less dri­ving on the the roads of T&T when they have the op­por­tu­ni­ty. I have writ­ten to the past and present Pris­ons Com­mis­sion­er about the very dan­ger­ous dri­ving of a large green pris­ons truck fol­lowed by a pris­ons jeep every sin­gle morn­ing along the West­ern Main Road in the vicin­i­ty of Hi-Lo in Glen­coe. The com­mis­sion­er can do some­thing about this but, alas, he does noth­ing. That pris­ons truck is go­ing to kill some­one some day.

There is a very long red and white flatbed trail­er truck that dri­ves down that same road a few days a week. The per­son at the wheel dri­ves like a mad man. The truck has huge writ­ing on the front and rear that says, "Move aside." That truck is al­so go­ing to kill some­one. I called the phone num­ber on the truck one day to com­plain, on­ly to be ha­rangued by the man who an­swered the phone.
