The farmers talking about an increase in food prices because of the increase in prices for the land they occupy. They paid $6 per acre and did we as consumers receive any rebate in food prices at the market or even the grocery-NO-the same products were at times cheaper than those locally grown. The Government is right to increase the amount they pay and even more within their rights to protect us the consumers from the increase they plan to institute.
