That wan­ton killing of in­no­cent an­i­mals was not called for. If you were in Flori­da that would have been jail for you based on the above head­ing. All that was need­ed was a stur­dy fence along­side the road­way and around the homes. That's all. Are we as a coun­try so back­ward in our thoughts and ac­tions that a sim­ple so­lu­tion to the herd­ing of some stray cat­tle could not be done? Why kill the an­i­mals? What re­al­ly have you done, Mr Agri­cul­ture Min­is­ter, to re­duce our high im­ports of food? All we see is end­less talk and pap­pyshow about al­lo­ca­tion of Ca­roni lands and mega farms but noth­ing, na­da, zilch hap­pen­ing.

Wouldn't it have been smarter to ac­quire the penin­su­la and let the an­i­mals be? That way we could have had a herd pro­duc­ing beef and milk which un­in­tend­ed as it may be, would have been a plus for your Min­istry. Time will tell.
