Tobago ferries in horrible condition

I recently travelled on both of our fast ferries, the T&T Spirit and the T&T Express, and was a bit disturbed to see the horrible condition that both of them are in. Seats are broken and torn, pivot tables for placing your food tray on are either broken or missing, and indeed the whole of the inside area looks drab. There also seems to be no controlling of passengers that use the journey for sleeping and in most cases they occupy three to four seats in so doing. Are there no officials on board to control the number of seats allowed per passenger? And what about the maintenance of the interior? I travelled with 21 Australian nationals who came to Tobago to sightsee and indeed this initial experience was not a nice one for us. Can the authorities please do something urgently to lift the image of our fast ferries, eg an overhaul of the inner accommodation area?
