I write to com­mend the Gov­ern­ment and all the state-owned agen­cies/op­er­a­tions that of­fer es­say-writ­ing com­pe­ti­tions to the na­tion's youths. Not on­ly do they help with the stu­dents' ed­u­ca­tion­al de­vel­op­ment, ie, their writ­ing skills and cre­ativ­i­ty, the es­says en­cour­age them to see how what is learned in school can ap­ply to oth­er as­pects of life.

Many young peo­ple have been able to win much need­ed funds and equip­ment for their school as well as some­thing for them­selves. In a way it al­so shows them how they can earn mon­ey through hard work. I would like the Gov­ern­ment and the state-owned com­pa­nies to con­tin­ue of­fer­ing (and maybe in­crease) these es­say-writ­ing, po­et­ry and art com­pe­ti­tions to stu- dents as they are of great ben­e­fit to the youths.
