Some years ago, former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday said that politics has a morality of its own. Many were sceptical then. But now, looking at the following, I understand him fully:
• The Prime Minister and her travel assistant.
• The credit card issue with Ministers Vernella Alleyne-Toppin and Dr Fuad Khan.
• Marlene Coudray appointed mayor by one party then switching to another without resigning.
But I wonder, is it a morality issue or is it a lack of principles?
