The scourge of bul­ly­ing has been ex­posed as one of the worst prac­tices among stu­dents. How­ev­er, this dis­taste­ful be­hav­iour is not re­strict­ed to stu­dents. Many schools have bul­lies parad­ing as teach­ers. They make school life mis­er­able for oth­er teach­ers. They are usu­al­ly rude, loud, ag­gres­sive and un­man­age­able.

In their quest to ap­pease these "teach­ers," prin­ci­pals give them out­landish priv­i­leges. This makes the sit­u­a­tion worse. Prin­ci­pals are afraid to take dis­ci­pli­nary ac­tion against these bul­lies. How­ev­er, this makes them look weak both to the bul­lies and the rest of the staff.

These bul­lies love to have roles where they have the au­thor­i­ty to push around oth­ers. They do this in the pres­ence of stu­dents. These dis­agree­able peo­ple make school life sheer tor­ture for oth­ers. It is time for the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion to im­ple­ment rules re­gard­ing the neg­a­tive be­hav­iour of such in­di­vid­u­als. Then there may be a less­en­ing of the bul­ly­ing among stu­dents.
