The scourge of bullying has been exposed as one of the worst practices among students. However, this distasteful behaviour is not restricted to students. Many schools have bullies parading as teachers. They make school life miserable for other teachers. They are usually rude, loud, aggressive and unmanageable.
In their quest to appease these "teachers," principals give them outlandish privileges. This makes the situation worse. Principals are afraid to take disciplinary action against these bullies. However, this makes them look weak both to the bullies and the rest of the staff.
These bullies love to have roles where they have the authority to push around others. They do this in the presence of students. These disagreeable people make school life sheer torture for others. It is time for the Ministry of Education to implement rules regarding the negative behaviour of such individuals. Then there may be a lessening of the bullying among students.
