Gopeesingh deserves applause for ideas

I applaud Education Minister Dr Tim Gopeesingh for having the testicular fortitude to mention the high absenteeism rate of some teachers at a TTUTA celebratory event. While there are many good teachers, there are several who abuse the system. Some people may not agree with Gopeesingh’s suggestions but I think it’s a good place for the Government and TTUTA to begin their discussions on the issue.
