Who will speak up for Special Reserve Police who are suffering? Don't expect Sgt Anand Ramesar of the Police Second Division. He's too busy-and SRPs are not important. Don't expect John Sandy, Minister of National Security. He's busy looking for the daddies of at-risk youths. It's over a year SRPs have not been paid salaries, because of a legal tangle. And no one is saying if these silent sufferers will be absorbed into the Police Service. I say if they are good to serve they are good to be regular cops.
