I understand it's illegal for backhoes and the like to be driven on highways. However, not a day passes without seeing these slow-moving vehicles along the Solomon Hochoy Highway. I once witnessed a motorcycle cop instruct the driver of a backhoe to drive on the shoulder instead of ordering him off the highway.
These slow vehicles are supposed to be transported on trucks/trailers on the highway. It is time the police do their job and get these offenders to obey the law. Why must motorists suffer for their slackness?
