Is Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar catch­ing cold feet as we await the re­con­fig­u­ra­tion (reshuf­fle) of her Cab­i­net and state boards? She is study­ing the im­pact of the move on the Gov­ern­ment, hence the de­lay in an­nounc­ing the changes. Let me re­mind PM Kam­la that she is the chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of the na­tion, and when she has to make tough de­ci­sions, she has to make them, and who vex lorse. They will get vex any­way.

Kam­la must do what's best for T&T, and not what is pop­u­lar. Lead­er­ship is not a pop­u­lar­i­ty con­test. As CEO she is al­so re­quired to be chief ex­e­cu­tion of­fi­cer, and wher­ev­er the axe falls, it darn well falls.
