When I heard that Jack Warner was made the new Minister of National Security, it brought a broad smile to my face. I know he's a man of action and I now look forward to him finally giving members of the Special Reserve Police their just due and the type of recognition and commendations that they deserve. He being a past SRP, he would be aware of how they are treated.
SRPs are crying out for proper terms and compensation. They work very hard with no sick leave, no holidays, and if they are injured it's NIS they have to look to for help, especially those working 40 hours a week for over the last four-five years.
Please, Mr Minister, do something for them. They are humans also and have families.
