E-mail not from March for Jesus

The Planning Committee of the March for Jesus, on its own behalf, on behalf of those organisations associated with us and also on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church in our country, utterly rejects and disassociates itself from an e-mail dated June 23. The e-mail makes it appear that it comes from the March for Jesus Planning Committee and contains the offensive and misleading words “our country is being run.” The public is being asked to ignore this e-mail should it come to your attention. The committee repeats that the purpose of the march, to be held on Sunday, is to call the country to unite in prayer to God, so that the scourges of crime, death and immorality will be defeated. The march also celebrates the 50th anniversary of our country’s independence.
