As a res­i­dent and own­er of a small busi­ness in Wood­brook, PoS, I think that the new traf­fic plan is a very good move ex­cept for the park­ing arrange­ments. At present park­ing in Wood­brook is a night­mare. I do not be­lieve any of the traf­fic plan­ners live or work in the Wood­brook area so they do not re­al­ly un­der­stand the park­ing woes of the res­i­dents and busi­ness own­ers. Park­ing on Tra­garete Road and Ari­api­ta Av­enue should be al­lowed as these roads could eas­i­ly ac­com­mo­date four lanes of traf­fic. I am sure on­ly the two cen­tre lanes will be used in peak times. Please plan­ners, some­one should trav­el to Wood­brook (Tra­garete Road and Ari­api­ta Av­enue) and look for a park, so that you can pur­chase a roti, flow­ers, pho­tos etc with­out the wreck­er breath­ing down your back.
