I am all in favour of the change to ease the traffic congestion in Woodbrook and St James in Port-of-Spain but I make two observations:
• I do not see the need for four lanes on the three main arteries and I recommend the removal of the no-parking restriction by dedicating one lane for parking, which should cut down the speeding, as surely these arteries were not meant to be highways. Also, it will restore the businessmen's sales which have suffered over the past two weeks.
• The residents of Kelly Kenny Street could have been treated with more respect. This street was not listed as part of the change but lo and behold it was changed without any notification-to head east instead of west.
