These days it is all about branding and selling. We are noted for, and are proud of, our propensity for fete. No other country can party with the same intensity, endurance, creativity, ingenuity, spontaneity and generosity. As we get close to 50 years as an independent nation, if as a matter of course we infuse these qualities into other parts of our daily life and development, be it education, sport, social concern and, above, all governance, we will be at the top of the world.
