I hope the arrange­ment for cops to take their ve­hi­cles home means that when we call a po­lice sta­tion for help they won't tell us "de sergeant take de car home; we eh have no ve­hi­cle here nuh." That an­nounce­ment of 300 ve­hi­cles for the po­lice is in­di­cat­ing very clear­ly that each precinct will now be ad­e­quate­ly equipped to car­ry out pa­trols and to re­spond to emer­gen­cies-ab­solute­ly no ex­cus­es.
