Once again she has proven the na­tion of Trinidad and To­ba­go wrong. Laven­tille isn't just a war zone with un­der­age preg­nan­cy and gangs. It has a lot more be­hind what the phys­i­cal eyes sees on a dai­ly ba­sis. I take this op­por­tu­ni­ty to con­grat­u­late Chantelle Ja­cob on be­ing one of the two schol­ar­ship win­ners from St Fran­cois Girls' Col­lege. Chantelle grew up in the hills of East­ern Quar­ry, Laven­tille and has proven that good could in fact come out of Laven­ti­ille.

Af­ter shock­ing the na­tion two years ago with her as­tound­ing suc­cess in CXC she has done it again in CAPE. I must say you have made the en­tire Laven­tille com­mu­ni­ty proud and we do look for­ward to hear­ing more about your great achieve­ments in the fu­ture.
