I would like to ask Ms Khadi­ja Ameen, Chair­man of the Tu­na­puna/Pi­ar­co Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion, or even Ms Rosan­na Sookdeo, Coun­cil­lor for the Curepe area, about the scav­eng­ing ser­vices for the area. Please cor­rect me if I am wrong, but I thought that garbage was to be col­lect­ed Mon­day, Tues­day, Thurs­day and Fri­day. So would some­one please ex­plain to the res­i­dents of Jack­son Street, Curepe, why for the past few Mon­days, our garbage has not been col­lect­ed.

This cre­ates a big stink and when it is col­lect­ed on the oth­er days, it usu­al­ly close to or af­ter lunch time. This mat­ter may seem triv­ial to you ladies, how­ev­er, it should be not­ed that this nev­er oc­curred be­fore un­til there were a switch in lead­er­ship at the Cor­po­ra­tion.
