I note that many play­grounds and sports grounds through­out the coun­try are be­ing up­grad­ed and light­ing is be­ing in­stalled. I sup­port this ini­tia­tive which is long over­due. How­ev­er, I ask, is so­lar-pow­ered flood­light­ing be­ing in­stalled as was pre­vi­ous­ly promised?

I re­call that many months ago, when the sec­re­tary for works at the THA was asked about the de­lay in the com­ple­tion of work at the Rox­bor­ough play­field, he replied that the flood­light­ing had not been com­plet­ed by T&TEC. Was so­lar-pow­ered light­ing in­stalled at Rox­bor­ough?
