In his email to Mr Do­minic Kalliper­sad of TV6, pri­vate cit­i­zen Ja­mal Mo­hammed, a self-pro­claimed in­signif­i­cant Mus­lim coolie, disin­gen­u­ous­ly at­tempt­ed to sep­a­rate his pri­vate sta­tus from his pub­lic per­sona as Min­is­ter of Com­mu­ni­ca­tion. He stat­ed that "I will give my life for you to have the free­dom to ex­press your­self."

I, there­fore, now ex­pect Mr Mo­hammed to do the de­cent thing in the no­ble cause of free­dom of the press and give his life. How­ev­er, as a com­pas­sion­ate chris­t­ian, I will make no such de­mand so that he can atone for his sins in this un­car­ing world. But the least he should do is to give up his pub­lic life as Min­is­ter of Com­mu­ni­ca­tion, fail­ing which, I call on the Ho­n­ourable Prime Min­is­ter to gen­tly push him over the ledge.

Af­ter all, Mr Mo­hammed's egre­gious act, though not un­law­ful, pales in com­par­i­son with the al­leged mis­con­duct of the fired for­mer ju­nior na­tion­al se­cu­ri­ty min­is­ter Collin Par­tap.
