Debate a big bust

The debate on the motion of censure against Attorney General Anand Ramlogan was a bigger bust than Donald Trump’s so-called “bombshell” against President Barack Obama in the United States this past week. The contributions from the various opposition ministers on the culpability of the AG in the fiasco has been, to say the least, very weak and spurious.

It was doomed to fail, and the efforts by Dr Rowley and his friends, Ancel Roget, Ramesh Maharaj and David Abdulah to destabilise the Government of Trinidad and Tobago will face a similar fate, even if all of their supporters turn out on November 2, for their touted march.

I am still confused as to why has Roget given up his job as a trade union leader for that of political activist for the PNM and has now enlisted Ramesh Maharaj as a tool to fulfil his political purpose.
