I think that it is time for the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago to demand that our politics be taken to another level. The time is right for us to demand that a debate be conducted between Orville London and Ashworth Jack, who are both aspiring to lead the Tobago House of Assembly after the THA elections.
It would allow the electorate to hear an honest and open debate on the issues that will affect the future of Tobago and by extension, Trinidad, both now and in the future. We should expect nothing less at a most crucial time of our development. This would give us an opportunity to hear and observe our future leaders discuss topical issues that would probably define the future course of T&T. As citizens we deserve nothing less.
