There is a lot of talk nowadays about freedom of the media but I am compelled to ask: is the media really free? If one was to studiously undertake the tedious task of reading the editorials of the Guardian, Express and Mirror and the articles of their columnists, one would have to conclude that the media is not free but under the control of the opposition.
I could be wrong but I feel that these editorials are written in Balisier House by Rowley and Imbert, Hinds and Al Rawi and so on. Some may be written at FITUN and OWTU headquarters by Roget and Cabrera or at Fixin T&T headquarters. As for the columnists, I believe that they probably attend evening classes at PNM headquarters.
But of course I could be wrong. As we say, who vex loss.
