I have come to the conclusion that the more secular we become, the more dehumanised we become. I have heard people, some of whom are educated Christians, state that they do not care if Dr Kublahsingh dies. We become the judge, jury and executioner. Most of us love to follow the crowd. Some of us are easily bought, or capitulate when we are threatened.
We criticise but do not take a principled stand on anything. Think about this: without a Martin Luther King there would be no Barack Obama. Are our diligent reporters bold enough to find out why the IADB refused a loan to the Government to build this controversial highway? Or are they too willing to follow the crowd? Stand up for something or fall for anything
