People come and people go
But Wilma Judith Chow Primus went with the flow
Sister, wife, mother of four offspring who gave her much pleasure
Left a legacy of memories for us all to treasure
Introduced to me by energetic Geraldine Connor
I was welcomed into her family with honour.
A sharp bright mind, librarian supreme
Was held by her co-workers in high esteem
Nalis, Eclac's techno online network pioneer,
With her cordial personality, always one to give cheer
Impulsive, loved life, young at heart with ease
Don't call me Granny–Auntie Wilma, if you please.
A chef of note, chinese, pastelles, pelau, black cake
Entertain, wine and dine, loved to partake
A passion for horses, won trophies, cups, sound of the hoof
When at the races, Interrupt...you'll get a boof!
Patron of the arts, music listener, jazz, newcomer Adele
Rap with Dr Dre made her come out her shell!
Worked in and visited, so many countries, a travel bug
Embraced diversity with a great big hug
Basketball, cricket, US open golf, tennis, sports
A loss from her team, left her out of sorts.
Sportscars, gadgets, Kindle, proud 56 ins flat screen,
Glued daily–romance, intrigue, drama, made the scene
President and Michelle Obama, her favourite discourse,
No-one else could jostle that tour de force.
Loyal friend, generous, caring, accommodating, assisted,
Did what she wanted, and so...she persisted
Thanks, dear lady, for leading, touching our lives
Even though we'll miss You
You're firmly entrenched in our archives.
