Min­is­te­r­i­al ap­point­ments, as you very well know, are made at the sole dis­cre­tion of the Prime Min­is­ter. It is a well known fact that Jack Warn­er is an en­er­getic in­di­vid­ual and giv­en any task/port­fo­lio, in or out of Gov­ern­ment, he will ap­proach it with the same en­er­gy, en­thu­si­asm and bom­bast. This is the Jack Warn­er brand.

Jus­tice Sim­mons' re­port came to the fore­front long af­ter Mr Warn­er's ap­point­ments as min­is­ter. There are many oth­er tal­ent­ed and qual­i­fied MPs in the PP Part­ner­ship Gov­ern­ment. The Prime Min­is­ter. in her wis­dom, chose to ap­point Mr Warn­er to these high pro­file min­istries–Works & Trans­port and Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty.
