As an ex-pupil of the Rose Hill RC School, I wish to recall Ms Jones whose son was Denzil; Ms Mitchell, Mr Karzime, Mr Wattie and Mr Monseque.I lived next to the school, at #4 Lacoulee Street with just an alley separating my family's home from the school. In our yard there was a breadfruit tree which fed many of the residents, including Mr Rudolph Charles of Desperadoes steel band.
When the President, in his inaugural speech, spoke about the school, particularly the motto "do the right thing because it is the right thing to do," I felt a great sense of pride to have been a student there.I hope the building can be reconstructed in the future.
