It is against the law to have, own, possess or operate a vehicle without a valid Insurance certificate, so there are many insurance companies in the country. Notices are sent by these companies in advance reminding owners of the due date, which is as it should be, so as not to be in violation of the law.
Promptness of payment of the premium is extremely important. Insurance companies invest this money so as to make a profit. Many times they don't have to pay out any money for damages and for them that is fine. But there are times when they do, and they are never prompt to pay when one has an accident, no matter how serious.I wonder why there is so much foot-dragging and time-wasting when it comes to paying?
