Not all Government agencies are low on customer service. Recently I had a problem at the Treasury Department and the officers there went way beyond the call of duty to ensure that my problem was handled efficiently and effectively. I would like to commend, and at the same time, thank the officers at the Treasury Department for their good work. On the other hand I can state that the officers at the HR Department of the Ministry of Education, Alexandra Street, are amongst the laziest I have had to encounter.
They are tardy and demonstrate a don't-care attitude to the teachers they serve. They don't seem to know much about what you are talking about. They can keep a big man/woman waiting at the counter for half an hour and that's no big thing for them. They are extremely slow and ineffective in handling the public's matters. Are there any supervisors in the HR Department of the MOE?
