The liquor li­cens­ing au­thor­i­ty must place the onus on bars, man­agers and liquor servers to "cut off" pa­trons who are vis­i­bly ine­bri­at­ed or not far from be­com­ing so.Con­trols must be ini­ti­at­ed when pa­trons are at the bars in the premis­es. When they are out the door and in their ve­hi­cles, for all in­tents and pur­pos­es, the deed is al­ready done.Re­gion must go af­ter Ap­proved Des­ti­na­tion Sta­tus

Chi­na's tourism mar­ket can be a ma­jor boost to the en­tire Caribbean di­as­po­ra. The Prime Min­is­ter and her Cari­com part­ners, fresh from the vis­it with the Pres­i­dent of Chi­na must move to seek Ap­proved Des­ti­na­tion Sta­tus (ADS) for the Caribbean as soon as pos­si­ble. These ap­pli­ca­tions take sev­er­al years to be man­i­fest­ed.Such an ap­proval will be a step in the right di­rec­tion and a coup for tourism in the re­gion and will boost our econ­o­my. The Caribbean is­lands will be wel­com­ing group tours from Chi­na, to­geth­er with busi­ness in­vest­ments po­ten­tial, es­pe­cial­ly ho­tels, and in­di­vid­ual trav­ellers.
