A great deal has been said over the last few days about Faaiq Mohammed. However, the fact remains that all he has done is voted against his political party. This is the only fact. Whether his explanation is accepted is up to the court of public opinion. After all, "politics has a morality of its own."However, I am, quite frankly, disgusted with what has been said about Faaiq. How can people make serious allegations without proving them? How can some people condemn a man without first having tried the man?
As they would colloquially say, "It look like things lil wrong side."If, indeed, some have evidence which proves that Faaiq has taken a bribe, then they must come forward and produce it to the relevant authorities. But if there is no evidence, quite frankly, I believe this issue should be put to rest.
