The big sawatees at the HDC need to get a life. What is so difficult about allocating supervised contract work to unemployed young people in areas where repairs are being done? This "making style" about not supplying jobs to "bandits" is a lot of nonsense. If there is adequate security on standby some residents should be employed on the jobs.Hungry unemployed young people will continue to protest "outsiders" coming into their area to "eat ah food."
In fairness to everyone, a minimum of a dozen residents or so should be included in all projects. If these people are closely monitored and the opportunity used to train them, everyone should be happy. Or is the suggestion to be magnanimous too difficult for the Minister to contemplate?Confucius says you cannot fight up with the same people you want to vote you back into office.
