In Sunday's Guardian, John Gaskin and F Mouttet wrote on the discontent of our people towards the PP Government, especially the PNM party. The PNM has used the media to campaign for the 2015 elections against the first woman Prime Minister of T&T. She is not responsible for the souls or behaviour of the ministers in her Cabinet, but has had the guts to remove them because they have embarrassed our islands.
The PNM Government, with more than 35 years in power, should be the last to criticise the PP. Our country was run down, laws allowed to be broken with no punishment, corruption in the police force, kidnapping and crime highest, and taxpayers' money disappeared overseas, never to be regained. What are you doing for your islands?
Do you volunteer to help the less fortunate or wayward youth, do you give a smile/listen? Or do you just criticise and complain?Ms Ira Mathur, Guardian Commentary, March 30, Page A22, said, "We refuse to be like the Bajans."I lived in Barbados for 35 years and Bajans are discontented, unfriendly, insecure in themselves and dislike T&T, and we go over there and badtalk our islands?
